Silk painting originated in China thousands of years ago, later spreading to other Asian countries. Believed to be one of the highest forms of painting, this fragile medium requires delicate treatment and the careful application of specific colors. The silk screen interacts with the artist like no other surface and demands skill and experience to be mastered. Once conquered, however, the screens reward the viewer with a soft, textured image. In the early 1980s, Sinai Manor took on the challenge and over the years mastered this ancient technique, exhibiting his hand-made works internationally.

These silk paintings elevate and deepen, radiate beauty and elegance, and introduce the spaces they grace with an age-old aesthetic brought to renewed life and a finesse that is unparalleled in other mediums.
